STOKE City suffered a 2-1 defeat to West Bromich Albion in the Championship at the BET365 Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Karlan Grant put the visitors in front on 18 minutes before Stoke equalised with Lewis Koumas slotting home on 29 minutes. Josh Maja put the baggies back in front on 31 minutes despite Koumas hitting the post twice for the Potters it was Albion that took all three points. Attendance: 24,371.
CREWE Alexandra gained their first league point of the season as they drew 0-0 with Swindon Town at the Mornflake Stadium in league two.
The Alex still have not scored in the league this season.
PORT Vale were thrashed by Barrow 4-0 in league two at Holker Street.
The scores were level at half-time at 0-0 but the home side demolished the Valiants in the second half as Gerard Garner scored on 54 minutes, Emile Acquah scoring on 79 minutes and two minutes later Kian Spence making it 3-0 and the misery wasn’t over as Dominic Telford netted on 95 minutes to complete a second half rout.
