STOKE City moved up seven places in the Championship table taking them up to tenth in the table with a 1-0 win over Plymouth Argyle at Home Park on Saturday.
The all-important goal came on 83 minutes with Million Manhoef netting to give the Potters all three points as they go into the international break. Attendance: 16,934.
CREWE Alexandra gained their first league victory of the season as they beat Bromley 2-1 at Hayes Lane in the final seconds of the game.
The railwaymen went behind on just 2 minutes as Louis Dennis put the home side in front and they led until the break going in at half-time 1-0 up.
In the second half Crewe gained the equaliser on 83 minutes with Micky Demetriou netting for the visitors and in the first minute of added time Chris Long scored the winner as the Alex took all three points moving Crewe up to seventeenth in the league two table. Attendance:
PORT Vale slipped to a 3-2 defeat to Doncaster Rovers in league two at Vale Park on Saturday.
Luke Molyneux put the visitors in front on 16 minutes, but the Valiants struck back on the half hour mark with the equaliser coming from Ryan Crossdale to level the scores at 1-1.
The Valiants went behind within a minute of the restart in the second half as veteran Billy Sharp made it 2-1 to Rovers and they extended their lead as Molyneux scored his second of the game on 58 minutes giving Doncaster a 3-1 lead. Vale did pull a goal back from the penalty spot on 87 minutes as Ethan Chislett slotted the ball home but it was Rovers that took all three points home with a 3-2 win leaving the Valiants in sixteenth place in the table. Attendance: 5,454.
