HANLEY TOWN LOSE OPENER TO WYTHENSHAWE

HANLEY Town got their Northern Premier League West season off to a disappointing start as they lost out 3-0 to Wythenshawe Town at Potteries Park on Friday night.

Hanley were 2-0 down at the break as George Boyd opened the scoring on 31 minutes with Louis Jeanne doubling the visitors lead on 43 minutes.

The points were sealed for Wythenshawe early in the second half as Tom Bentham netted on 53 minutes. Attendance 316.
