Large fire in a workshop in Haslington
At 5.15pm firefighters were called to reports to a fire in outbuilding on Clay Lane in Haslington.
Two fire engines from Crewe were dispatched to the scene and on arrival they found a large fire in a garage and a workshop.
The building measured around 20 metres by 20 metres and is believed to house a number of vehicles.
Due to the scale of the fire an additional six fire engines, from Middlewich, Winsford, Holmes Chapel, Macclesfield, Warrington and Congleton, were also dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters have split the building into three sectors and are using four hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the fire.
A water shuttle scheme has also been put in place to transport water to the rural site.
Clay lane is currently closed as a result of the incident.
Eight fire engines attended, two from Crewe and Middlewich, Winsford, Holmes Chapel, Macclesfield, Warrington and Congleton.
