LOCAL SIDES ALL DRAWN AWAY IN CARABAO CUP

IN the Carabao Cup first round draw all our local clubs were in the Northern section of the draw.

Crewe Alexandra were first out of the hat for our local clubs and they face a trip to the New York Stadium to face league one side Rotherham who were last season relegated from the Championship. Stoke City were next out and they make the trip to Brunton Park to face league two Carlisle United while Port Vale travel to Holker Street to face fellow league two side Barrow.

The ties are to be played week commencing 12th August.
