Pictures- Biddulph in Bloom open gardens

Our roving reporters were out and about again on Sunday in Biddulph and the surrounding areas, visiting the open gardens. There were 14 gardens open including Biddulph Grange. They tried to visit all of them but only managed to visit 10 of the gardens unfortunately,  as there was a lot to see in every garden.  The gardens were looking fantastic  and the owners had spent a lot of time preparing and looking after them. Also several of the owners were doing refreshments on the way round. So they just had to stop and try the cakes! One of the owners of a garden Simon Hall has won one of the 2 highly commended prizes in the Gardeners World competition in 2019 coming joint runner up only to the first prize winner. Each area of his garden is like a room and you turn a corner and there is a different one.
