Pictures: Cheadle Christmas lights 2021

Team Cheadle and Cheadle town Council blew it out of the water with another event in the town centre. Once again celebrating Christmas in style with an amazing light switch on event. it sees the event return after a virtual one last year.

Our roving reporter was out and about yesterday (20/11/21).

The High Street was shut and it was full of stalls from one end of the street to the other. There was plenty to see and the street was buzzing with people. Some of the activities were:- live music, funfair and rides, Santa Grotto and Santa reindeer besides a Snowman shop trail and Foxfield miniature railway that children could have a ride on.

At 5pm the Christmas Lights were switched on by paralympian Shaun Burrows and the Cheadle Mayor Sue Walley plus dignitaries from the local area.
