The full lists of candidates battling to become MPs in Staffordshire in next month's General Election have been revealed

The full lists of candidates battling to become MPs in Staffordshire in next month’s General Election have been revealed.

The deadline for the delivery of nomination papers was 4pm on Friday (June 7).

A number of previous MPs in Staffordshire will be aiming to keep hold of their seats. But some areas will be electing a new representative as their former MP has decided not to contest their seat.

Stone’s former veteran MP Bill Cash has stood down after 40 years in Parliament. And last week Aaron Bell, who was elected to represent Newcastle-under-Lyme in 2019, announced he would not be standing again next month.
